We are in exciting times! After much prayer and seeking the Lord, the Elder Team has unanimously chosen a Lead Pastor candidate to present to the Ministry Partners of New Life Church!

With the help of our consulting agency, we have been in a long process of finding an ideal fit for our next Lead Pastor. Through faithful diligence and trust in the Lord’s leading, we have been able to navigate through 78 candidates to find this pastor, who matches what we have been faithfully praying for. (To see all the steps leading up to this, visit www.enewlife.com/transition)

After many, many hours with Jake and Erin – on Zoom, phone calls, and a lengthy in-person visit here – we are confident that Jake will be a great fit to help us continue the Gospel work that is happening in our community. We want you to have time to see that for yourselves too!

So come join us for a Meet-N-Greet as we hear from Jake and Erin about their journey to get here. It will be an encouraging time to get to know them, their family, and their experiences that led them to us. Plus, there will be time to ask some additional questions!

You can attend a Meet-N-Greet at any of the campuses, whichever works best for you:

• 6pm Saturday, April 27 hosted by East Campus
• 2pm Sunday, April 28 hosted by Whitehall Campus
• 6pm Sunday, April 28 hosted by Gahanna Campus

Whether through enewlife.com/Jake, the Sunday Celebrations on April 28th (where Jake will share and preach), or the Meet-N-Greets, we hope that our Ministry Partners will be able to confidently vote “Yes” to affirm the Elder Team’s choice in recommending Jake to be our next Lead Pastor. At each of these events and online, Ministry Partners will be able to cast their vote. Our church’s Constitution requires a three-fourths affirming vote (of those who choose to vote) to allow Jake to fill the position.
