Christ in the Passover (Seder Demonstration)
Friday, April 7, 7:00 pm – 8:15 pm
Led by Rabbi Howard Silverman of Beth Messiah Congregation. Discover the deep meanings and pictures within the traditional Passover Seder (this is not a full meal, but an interactive teaching). Bring your entire family, come as a Small Group or on your own. There is no charge. You do NOT need to register to attend, but you DO need to register for CHILDCARE (available for age 6 and under). Childcare must be registered by Monday, April 3.

- Passover is the oldest of the biblical festivals.
- The Passover Story recounts and celebrates the deliverance of the children of Israel from slavery in Egypt.
- According to Rabbis of old, Passover is to be observed as if each of us physically left Egypt ourselves, not just our ancestors.
- For believers in Jesus (Yeshua), Passover is a foreshadowing of our redemption from sin and death purchased through the Lamb of God, Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah).
- In His final moments on earth, Jesus observed the Passover with His disciples.
- He decreed that at each Passover, we are to remember Him and His atoning sacrifice until His return.
