What to Expect

What to Expect when you visit

We call our services Celebrations at New Life because that's what they are - a Celebration of who God is. Celebrations last about ninety minutes and you'll find an informal crowd and atmosphere.

What happens in Celebrations?

Music. We’ll praise God and encourage each other with singing.

Prayer. We are led in prayer and all also have an opportunity to be prayed for in each Celebration Service. 

Scripture. We love the Bible and we read from it often.

Preaching. We typically teach through books of the Bible (expository teaching) and seek to apply the gospel to all of life.

Communion. We regularly celebrate the Lord’s Supper as a reminder of Jesus’ death as a sacrifice for sins.

Giving. We’ll give as a response to God’s grace to extend the church’s ministry to our community and world. There are a number of ways to give.

Baptism. We celebrate with those who have made a public decision to follow Jesus with their life periodically throughout the year.
