Living Undivided: Virtual Racial Solidarity Course

Living Undivided is a 6-week-course designed to "move people from avoidance (of racial issues) into relationships that close racial divides." Trained facilitators will walk through history, empathy training, structural injustices related to race, lament & forgiveness, repairing broken community, and becoming reconcilers. It is a 6-week experience to gather together in diverse groups to have meaningful conversations about race and racial injustice.

We want to be intentionally committed to racial unity. Join us to stand united as brothers and sisters whose hearts align with a God who is about justice, love and solidarity. We are excited to see what God will do in our church through UNDIVIDED!

Each session will take place virtually and you will receive more information once registered. In order for everyone to have an optimal Zoom experience, UNDIVIDED has a cap of 24 participants. Once we reach that number, we will not be able to add more people based on the format of the group, so please sign up ASAP if you would like to participate in this round. Due to the content and relational purpose within the course, we need at least 8 persons of color in each course.

Our church will begin our first session on SUNDAY FEB 21st and we complete our last session on SUNDAY, MARCH 28th. The sessions will take place from 6:30PM-8:30PM EST. Couples will need to sign up separately & should plan to use two different devices since you might not be in the same virtual "small group." 

Since we are using a 3rd party organization to oversee this very important work, complete with highly-trained facilitators, there is a considerable charge for the course ($150) but thanks to friends & partners who are willing to cover much of the fees, it is COMPLETELY fine to pay what you can. If you can only afford $20, then pay that. If you want to pay $500, go right ahead PLEASE, DO NOT LET MONEY BE AN ISSUE FOR YOU!

We will reconvene at the end of this round to discuss future plans to potentially partner with UNDIVIDED again. Our hope is that we will offer sessions several times a year. If you have questions, email Cindy at cschmidt@enewlife.com
