Ice Breaker: What was one of the scariest situations you have ever been in?

• Pray for any lost people your group is reaching out to!
• NEW YEAR - New opportunities! Plan a group event to use to invite non-believers

 WORD (25 minutes)

1. What are some reasons that have kept you from doing something to serve God in the past?
2. Have someone read Philippians 3:7-9. Why do you think it is easier for us to believe that it’s Jesus’ righteousness and not ours that saves us, than it is to believe that it’s Jesus’ righteousness and not ours that allows us to be used by Him?
3. There will always be someone who looks like they could do what needs to be done better than you, but God uses the unable willing ahead of the unwilling able every time! When & how have you seen this to be true in your life and with others?
4. Have someone read 2 Corinthians 12:9-10. God loves to get the glory by using us in our weakness! So often it’s because of our mistakes and brokenness that God uses us – not in spite of it. Why & how is this true?
