Volunteering
Our Vision
To become a dedicated group of God's servants, united as one team, to inspire every child to know and follow Jesus forever.
Is there anything more precious on this earth than a child? How about a child that knows Jesus died for him or her and looks forward to being in Heaven with Him one day?
Here at New Life Kids Connection, parents, staff and volunteers are blessed and privileged to serve alongside one another and find great joy in connecting kids to Jesus, God's Word, each other and us, every week.
Are you plugged in to a place of service? Would you like to be? Why not check out Children's Ministries and see if there is a role that is right for you. All of our volunteers in every area of Children's Ministry have completed a Volunteer Application Form <click here to download> which includes passing a criminal background check.
We currently have over 240 volunteers that minister to our children in a variety of unique roles. WOW! It takes a lot of volunteers to minister to a lot of children. The more adults we have that serve, the more impact we can make in the life of a child for Christ. Please pray about joining us. We'd love to have you on our team.

Serving Opportunities
- Small Group Leader: serves as the primary role model for the same group of eight to ten kids on a weekly basis. (Needed during Awana on Wednesdays too!)
- Classroom Facilitator: provides leadership and support to a team of eight to ten small group leaders. (This role is called a Club Director during Awana on Wednesdays)
- Greeter: welcomes children into a classroom and helps to get them checked in.
- Check-In Team: greets new families as they enter the Kids Connection hallway and guides them through the entire process of checking into a class.
- Nursery Volunteer: Rock, love and play with infants and toddlers during Celebration worship services. We believe even very young children can learn about God.
- Preschool Volunteer: Guide preschoolers through music, crafts, skits and story time and through active learning about Jesus and the Bible.
- K-1 Volunteer: Large Group Teachers and Small Group Leaders and helpers all make up one team. The variety of roles engages children in a creative environment to help them understand how the Bible applies to them.
- Large Group Teacher: The large group teacher will be responsible to present bible lessons from prepared curriculum using a variety of techniques to hold interest of children ages 7 thru 12.
