Getting Connected
In order to fulfill our vision, we will provide men a wide variety of opportunities to get connected and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, whether it is by attending an event together, joining a small group, or serving together locally or on a short-term mission trip.
Upcoming Gatherings
- Men's Breakfast - Join us on Saturday, August 20th at 8AM for the next men's breakfast. We will share what is happening in different ministries around New Life and spend time in prayer for those ministries and for each other. It will be a great time of fellowship with our brothers! The cost is just $3.
Beginning in January 2011, we will focus on having three different types of monthly gatherings, with a rotation of the following three events:
Guys' Night Out - This is a social/outreach event. The goal is to provide an opportunity for men to build relationships with other men at New Life, as well as with other men in your sphere of influence by providing a relaxed atmosphere where men can have a good time and get to know each other.
Momentum - This is an evening of worship, discussion, and digging into God's Word together. The goal with this event is to discuss issues that are pertinent to men and our walks with God. It is a great opportunity for men who are in small groups to go deeper, as well as for men who are not yet connected to a small group to meet other men.
Men's Breakfast - The goal of the men's breakfast is to gather men for a time of encouragement and to allow different ministries to share what God is doing through the men of New Life. This event is also a great opportunity for any men who are not currently serving to get connected to a ministry that fits their unique gifts and interests.
Service/Missions
Oil Changes for Single Parents: Thanks to everyone who has volunteered or donated to make the spring oil change event possible! We have 50 signed up to receive free oil changes and car washes to bless single parents and widows. A HUGE thank you to Mobile Oil Pitstop for partnering with us in this effort and donating the oil and filters!
Home Repair Team: We have a great group of men and women who put their handyman skills to work to bless those at New Life and in our community. To find out how to get involved contact Chris Butsky at .
