Local Outreach

Reaching out

When Jesus told us to take the gospel to Jerusalem, Judea & Samaria, and the ends of the earth, we take that to mean TODAY our own community, the USA, and the WORLD! We reach out right there in Gahanna, right here in central Ohio, to the poor, the lonely, the elderly, the handicapped, the homeless- anyone who needs a little dose of HOPE!  We partner with many local ministries and outreaches and support many of them with a monthly donation as well as volunteer hours and supplies.

The Gahanna "Free Summer Lunch Club" is a partnership among several local churches under the leadership of the Bridge of Gahanna to offer nutritious meals to families in need in our community. During the summer, when school is not in session, many families struggle to provide meals each day. Over the past two years we have offered hundreds of meals to local children and families, plus extras like hugs, books, prayers, school supplies, popsicles, FUN, giggles, toiletry supplies, and HOPE! Cooks, servers, planners, helpers, and MORE are needed all year 'round to keep this exciting outreach going - contact the Outreach office for more info!
